Process

As an advocate for arts education, much of my training has centered around theatre for young audiences. The TTS production of Tall Enough at the Merele Reskin Theatre welcomed CPS students to explore physics problems and the challenges of middle school.

The Dramaturgy team created an virtual educational package for students and teachers to work with pre- and post-show. This packet has information including themes and morals, descriptions of characters, theatrical elements, and in class activities.

The show doesn't end when you leave the theatre!

Project Description

Every spring, the J.E. Wilkins Science Pack at Hawkins Middle School celebrates the year with a trip to Wild Winds Amusement Park on their annual Physics Day. One problem - their normally fearless leader, Asia, is secretly terrified of roller coasters! For her team to win this year's Wild Ride Physics Challenge, she must ride at least one. A powerful group of friends unite and resort to extraordinary measures in hopes of helping Asia overcome her fears and discover if they all have what it takes to win
